    Setting the Context

    Whether you choose to admit it or not, we live in  very dysfunctional,  political, religious, and economic social structures.   The vast majority of our collective behaviors are not sustainable.   Behaviors such as unbridled population growth, wanton environmental destruction, indiscriminate pollution, sexual repression, et cetera,  are leading us down the pathway to a massive and rather sudden population reduction.   

Symbolically speaking, on a global level, we are riding the Cosmic Titanic.  We are traveling at full speed, in the dark, in iceberg-filled waters, with the captains and all  the officers asleep in their cozy little cabins of illusion.   And what have they inspired us to do?  Spend our time and energy fighting over the deck chairs.  Why do we fight instead of cooperate?   Because most of us, as mindless sheep, simply follow someone else's instructions.

    We Have Two Choices:   Symbolically speaking, we can play life like football players constantly at odds and fighting.   Or we can play as members of an orchestra functioning in mutual cooperation for the creation of beautiful music.   Which way are you playing?

    Denial is no longer an option.   Survival dictates that we think and act  "outside-the-box" of conventional behavior.   We cannot  solve our collective, social problems with either "More of the Same"  or  "The Same Thing Harder."     A new, mutually cooperative  approaches to our collective social problems is required and the sooner we wake up to this,  the less painful the transition will be.  

    A New Approach:   Our present sex-education system and the present don't-have-sex-education programs are simply not producing the results we want.  Sexually related problems are rampant and a new approach to solving these problems is required.    In the area of sex education,  The Yoni Dance books propose a radical and at the same time, a fully functional approach to young adult, sex education.   

    A Sexual Truth Challenge:   To those of you who disapprove of our approach, we say:  1)  Be specific,   Step outside of your religious-based, anti-sex belief system and show us exactly where and how our program is dysfunction,  2)  Offer a better solution, not a fairytale solution, but a solution that actually works.    3)   take the  Sex Truth Challenge  offered below.

    Who's Telling the Truth?

The dichotomy:  The  public airwaves bombard us with two opposing sexual messages.   On one hand, there are programs and commercials filled with sex and sexual innuendos.    On the other side, there are conservative talk shows that deliver dysfunctional,  anti-sexual, media hype.   

The Problem:  Rather than coming together, each sides is moving away from the other.   Both sides are giving us a false, incomplete,  and/or distorted images of sex.    Many of the programs promote sex without commitment, responsibility, or consequences.   On the other hand, the anti-sex peddlers are offering us fairytale solutions to our sexually related problems that neither match reality nor solve the problems. 

A middle Ground:  The goal on the Yoni Dance books is to show people where to find  the middle ground in this sexual mess and offer healthy ways of relating to the opposite sex.    The sections below on this page offer you a perspective on sex you won't find on television.

    What's Wrong with Sex?

    As little children, the anti-sexual Christian adults were  taught that God created them inherently evil.    They were also  taught that a major ticket to heaven is to not have sex for any reason other than to make babies.   

    Anti-sex Is Off the Mark:   To listen to the CLI Connection critics, (mostly conservative, fundamentalist Christians)  one might think that sex was also  inherently evil.   Their anti-sexual / sex-for-pleasure-is-evil attitude is a belief about reality.   It does not represent reality, itself.   Neither does it represent an across-the-board attitude about sex outside the conservative, Christian Community.   Hinduism and Buddhism, for example, openly acknowledge our human sexual nature.   Humans are inherently sensual creatures and sex provides the ultimate pleasure in human sensuality.   

    Sexual Hypocrisy:   If you examine the sexual hypocrisy within the leadership of the anti-sexual community, one has to wonder if their publicly promoted anti-sex attitudes are real beliefs.  One could also say that  their anti-sex rhetoric is  just another mind-control-tool used to manipulate the masses and extract money.   

If you examine the sexual hypocrisy among the so-called "good Christians," one has to wonder what these people really believe.    We say that because, for many followers, their  behavior does not conform to their publicly stated beliefs.

    Sexual Repression Doesn't Work:   Sexual repression and sexual denial are significant causal factors in the creation of our social problems.   One has but to examine the recently exposed behavior of priests in the Roman Catholic Church to see proof that sexual repression generates sexual predators.   

    Prohibition Doesn't Work:   History has clearly proven that passing morality prohibition laws in the false belief the laws can change someone else's private, personal behavior simply doesn't work.   The 1920's prohibition of alcohol and the present anti-drug laws prove this beyond a shadow of a doubt.   The criminalized behavior continues clandestinely, the price goes up dramatically, the public is repressed by an ever-growing number of morality police, and the criminals move in and make millions of dollars.°  

    An Alternate Way of Sexually Relating:   Our critics say we are promoting indiscriminate sex.   Our response is, yes, we are indeed promoting sex.   And no, we are definitely not promoting indiscriminate sex.   Just look around  you, indiscriminate and dysfunctional sex is already rampant and our of control all over the planet.   Sex is not going to go away by just saying no, or by passing laws against it.   Thus, we  propose a healthy, functional  alternative to both sexual-fairytale-denial  and  indiscriminate-dysfunction-sex.   And of course we know that CLI Connections are not for everyone, but then, neither is sexual abstinence.

What we are actually saying is that:   

1)   Sex is a natural human function.   
Its force and power  cannot be denied,   

2)   Our present systems are not working,   

3)   A functional alternative is available.

        What Can CLI Connection Sharing Actually Accomplish?

    1)   Reduce the number of unwanted pregnancies.

    2)   Reduce the number of abortions.

    3)   Reduce the spread of AIDS. 

    4)   Reduce  the spread of other sexually transmitted diseases.

    5)   Provide a completely  safe way to achieve sexual satisfaction. 

    6)   Provide an open door to comprehensive, truthful sex education. 

    7)   Provide a way to eliminate the pressure on women to "go all the way."

    8)   Provide a way for young women to maintain their virginity.

    9)   Provide a way to reduce the sexual frustration in young adult males and thus reduce violence and crime."  (Sex or Violence-an Either/or choice°) 

    10)   Provide a way to add warmth and caring to the male perspective on  sexual sharing.   (Generally speaking, women want love, caring, intimacy, and commitment while most young males want sex without intimacy, without commitment, and definitely, without  responsibility.)

    A Sex Truth Challenge

    Once again, we're back to the same old bottom line -- WHO DECIDES?  --- Who puts what into the  minds of the masses?

In spite of the fact that "Just Say No" programs have never proven their effectiveness, the U. S.  government,  under the control of right-wing, conservative Christians,  is still spending one hundred million dollars of your tax money each and every year peddling sexual-abstinence-only-programs to children.    In our so-called free country, programs that teach anything but abstinence are given ZERO dollars and in many cases, government-enforced censorship is imposed preventing teachers from even answering student's questions about sex.

    We offer a truth challenge.   Let's undertake a study in two groups.   In one group, the leaders will promote the just-say-no, sexual abstinence programs and in the other group, the young adult participants will simply be offered a copy of the first two volumes of the Yoni Dance Trilogy.   They'll  be invited to read the books and then to participate in a weekly, no-holds-barred, completely open discussions of sex.  Then after one year, let's compare statistics in the two groups regarding:

    Unwanted pregnancies.

     Abortions.

     AIDS infections. 

     Sexual transmitted diseases.

     Student sexual attitudes. 

     The number of young women who maintain their virginity

     The number of young men reprimanded for anti-social behavior."

    Actually, undertaking an initial study is relatively simple.   Since the sexual abstinence programs are already underway in numerous schools, all that is needed is to find or create a group of young adults for the other side of the study.   Since we choose to avoid being accused of promoting sex to children, (who, by the way, are already inherently sexual beings)  we propose to use a group of people age eighteen to twenty-one for the CLI Connection side of the study.   Of course, the two sides will not be from an equal population,  so this will not be a statistically valid study.   It will however, give us a clear indication of the validity of CLI Connection sharing and offer impetus for implementing additional and more scientific studies.

We suggest that the administrator of the  young adult group give each group member the first two volumes of the Yoni Dance Trilogy, ask them to read the books, and then provide a location and moderator for weekly, no-holds-barred, completely open discussions of sex.  Then, at the end of one  year, we can compare the statistics mentioned above.

    To those of you who promote sexual abstinence only programs,  we say, "Here's your opportunity to prove their worth.   Let's let the evidence speak for itself.   

    We also want a clear answer to these two questions:

1)   What, exactly, are the goals of your program?   

2)   Are any of your goals not also met by the CLI Connections?"

We say your anti-sex programs are nothing more than another dysfunctional, mind-controlling, religious-inspired  fairytale.  We also say that teaching people the truth about sex and offering CLI Connections as a way of relieving sexual tensions and sexual frustration are a far better answers to our sexually related social problems.
