In seeking answers to these two questions, let's look at the possibilities.   First consider the fact that no physical human being knows the complete, absolute, irrefutable  truth about anything.   The Creation, God, The Source of All  is so grand, so big, so complex, and so mysterious that it is quite literally impossible for any human being to know the complete truth about anything with absolute certainty.   

Every single one of us  speaks from a limited human perspective -- from a perspective colored by our own personal beliefs -- beliefs that were taught to us by other human beings with equally limited knowledge --  beliefs that may have absolutely nothing to do with what the factual evidence tells us.   To illustrate this symbolically, look at the Sufi story about  the three blind men  examining an elephant:  One blind man, while touching the elephant's side, declared that an elephant was like a wall.   The second touching its leg, declared an elephant was like a tree, and the third blind man, while holding onto its tail declared an elephant was like a snake.

All three were correct, and, at the same time, all three had very distorted perspectives of an elephant.  Please note that the significance here is not in what each blind man  said about the elephant.  The significance is in what they didn't say.   They didn't say because they couldn't say.   They couldn't say because they didn't know.   And they didn't know that they didn't know.   So where can we turn to find a source of the truth?

Do Our Religious Leaders Know the Truth?  The immediate response to this question is which religious leaders and which religion.    It takes only a brief look to see that there are vast differences here.   The truth in one religion is blasphemy in another.   For example, the entire planet is presently in a life and death struggle with people who believe that they are under direct order from God (Allah)  to commit mass-murder of infidels.  Well, if not religion, how about politics?

Do Our Political Leaders Know the Truth?       Nobody in their right mind is going to trust the words that are presently (2006) coming from the Bush administration.    (See the section titled:.   Capital Crimes.° )   How about our esteemed (EX-) congressman form Florida, Mark Foley?  --  or Tom Delay, Jack Abramoff, Grover Norquist, Ralph Reed, Newt Gingrich, Ed Bucham, Mike Scanlon, and Carl Rove?     OK, so much for politicians.  

Is There Anybody Left?    If you're asking that question literally, the answer is no --  there are no bodies (physical bodies) from which you can receive the irrefutable truth.   So, now what?

Is There Any Way to Ask God, Him/Her/Itself?    Fortunately, the answer is yes and the process is incredible simple -- so simple, in fact, that most people discount it as no answer at all.    Each of us is connected, within our own being, to that  invisible source of life we  commonly called God, Soul, Higher-Self, conscience, gut-feelings, et cetera.   Communication from that source comes to us  in terms of feelings -- not  physical feeling such as I cut my finger, but in emotional terms such as "I feel good" or "I feel bad."   When your mind is focused on the things you enjoy, you feel good.   When your mind is focused on the things you don't like, you feel bad.  It's that simple!

Yes or No?    This phenomenon can be used to get a "yes" or "no" answer to any question in your life.  Several techniques are available to do this.   Which one works best is unique to each individual.  The process described below is the one this author has found to be the most reliable for the most people.   

A Useful Technique:    Stand erect with your feet apart slightly more than directly under your shoulders.   Allow your arms and hands to hanging loosely at your sides.  You can face in any direction; however, facing magnetic north seems to be the most advantageous.  Take a deep breath, let you body relax, and focus your mind on what you are doing in the moment.    Bring you left hand up slowly in front of you with open hand and palm facing to your right.   Raise you arm and hand up until they are above your head.   Continue the movement to the left and then back down until your arm and hand are in their original, relaxed position.   This movement is designed to clear yourself of any non-physical, energetic interference.  Now you are ready to begin asking questions.  

Begin by asking some very basic questions in order for you to become aware of a yes or no response.   If the answer is yes, your body will lean slightly forward.   If the answer is no, you body will lean slightly backwards.   Here are some sample questions to start with:   Am I a man?   Am I a woman?   Is my name ____ ?   Is fire hot?  Is fire cold?  Et cetera.   Continue asking basic questions until you feel confident that you are getting correct answers.
