It's
Time for a Reality Check:
Many
people will consider the evidence offered on this Website to be harsh
criticisms of the right-wing, ultra-conservative religious extremists. The statements
may seem harsh, but
they are also an absolutely essential ingredient in transforming a
Christianity based upon :
ancient
unprovable stories
to
a Christianity based upon
a
combination of the evidence and the teachings of
Jesus.
The
Reasonables' N.V.P. Team is pointing out these
problems NOT to put anybody down or to make anybody wrong, but rather:
To
revitalize Christianity by shifting its base from
blind obedience to the declarations of those who claim to
know to a social structure that combines faith and reason,
To
demonstrate the reason and faith are partners and not
enemies.
To
show that by bringing the mind into one's religion, additional
and much more logical ways show up to look at
life's problems and to resolve them
or step beyond them.

see, ears willing to hear, and
minds willing to know the truth, The
Reasonables' New Vision Project --
Finding
God By
Faith and By
Reason
is
offering:
An expanded and open-minded
vision of Christianity.
A vision
that steps outside the boundaries
built centuries ago by the
traditional Christian teachers.
A vision that
Acknowledges the teachings of Jesus which place humans
and God in the same body,
A vision
that acknowledge the divinity of and
in every human being.
A vision
that inspires people to bring
God-consciousness into everyday
human life.
A vision that picks
human kind out of the mud of
ignorance and stands us up to
walk
on Earth as fellow God-beings.
The project offers previously ignored variations on the
themes given to us by the teachings
of Jesus. For
example, how many of you believe the Bible is
the word of God? Then
why do you deny the words of Jesus in
John 14:12 "Anything
I can do, you can do and more." and
Luke
17:21 “Behold,
the kingdom of God is within you." ?
When one gets beneath the rhetoric and the fairytales of church leaders,
Christianity offers great
faith and great wisdom to its followers. Simply follow the teaching
of Jesus and you can't go wrong.
The
Problem:
The Problem
is that common sense, personal freedom, political sovereignty,
and religious liberty have come under attack by well-meaning, but misinformed,
misguided, (and in some cases, ignorant) church leaders.
Followers are being given inaccurate
and dysfunctional information°
by a small group of religious
extremists who have
no idea where reality° ends and fairytales° begin. The religious zealots, in
turn are, being manipulated and used by a small group of multi-millionaire /
multi-billionaire, godless ego-atheists° who, behind the scenes, own the political
structures which control our so-called democracy. And almost certainly,
the godless ego atheists are being used and manipulated by forces that are
beyond our knowledge and comprehension.
The
right-wing Christian extremists, like the Muslim extremist and, like the rest of us,
are doing what they believes to be right. We honor everybody's right to believe anything he
or she chooses, but we refuse to allow religious zealots to force their beliefs
onto everybody through secular law.

Possible Solution:
The
Website is offered in defense of personal
freedom, political sovereignty, religious liberty, and in defense of just plain

remember that pointing out the ancient follies in Christian theology is designed
to modernize and rescue Christianity from the fate of the Zoroastrian
religion. Please also remember that there is a vast difference between the
teachings of Jesus and the Christian hierarchy (the social structure) that
attempts to tell you what his ministry means.
